Two astronomy talks at the OU - Tues 23rd Apr

As part of the Open University’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the STEM faculty are putting on a series of “Open Talks” – the first of which will essentially be a double bill of short inaugural lectures Prof Andrew Norton and his colleague, Simon Green.

Prof Norton’s talk will be “The Clockwork Universe – adventures in time-domain astrophysics” and Simon’s talk will be “Near-Earth Asteroids: A matter of life and death?”

This event, which is free to attend and scheduled for 6 pm in the OU’s main Berrill Lecture Theatre, on the day after Easter Monday.
