8pm – 8.30pm LAS demonstration – Safe solar observing
(Do NOT look at the Sun directly, safe methods required)
8.30 pm onwards Observing the `Full Moon `
9:12 pm Sunset (9.30 Venus / Mercury both set 9.50pm)
9.30pm – 10.30pm Observe Jupiter in the western twilight
9.30pm – 10.30pm Observe the ringed planet Saturn /Red Planet Mars
10.30 pm -11pm Observe the main stars, of the summer night sky
